Who we are and what we do...
The NAMIC Arbitration Service provides a forum for low-cost resolution of subrogation disputes between property/casualty insurance companies in the United States.
NAS has automatic nationwide jurisdiction over any subrogation dispute between signatory companies arising from, but not limited to:
- Damage to or by motor vehicles
- Medical payments where permitted by state law
- Third-party contribution claims
The committee's written decisions contain a comprehensive breakdown of each case, including a discussion of the reasoning behind the ruling. All cases are heard by at least three independent, experienced arbitrators.
Filing Fee Change
Effective March 1, 2009, the filing fee and the respondent company counter-claim filing fee will increase from $100 to $120 per case.
This change will offset expenses and maintain the high standard of customer service your company has come to expect from our staff.
